a fall day with "my" boys

Friday was a little warmer than the rest of the days last week. The sun actually came out and the wind died down a bit. After being cooped up indoors Wednesday and Thursday we welcomed an hour or so to be out.
I love this cold weather!! The fact I can wear my slouchy hats and sweaters makes me happy! I also love the way the light looks in the fall time. In my opinion it just has this crisp, golden feel to it and I love being able to capture that in photos.

I love fall!

End of the Week Instagrams

Since getting an iPhone, I instagram way more than I should.
It's just the quality of the iPhone far surpasses any phone camera I've ever had, and some point and shoot cameras. (excuses, excuses)
This excites me so much. I shoot more creatively, and edit right on and through my phone. I didn't try as hard before because the quality of the photos on my other phone was very poor. With my iPhone though, I am satisfied when I get a photo with it. Sure, the quality isn't as high as my pro camera but it's nice to shoot little moments with, that don't have to be so perfected.

One of the most colorful fall leaves I saw this year.

With recipes of pumpkin spice lattes filling pinterest, I decided to create one of my own.
DELICIOUS.

My friend had her 7th child this week! I went and saw her at the hospital and held little Elliana; who I already love.

Babies are so precious. So innocent. So tiny & lovely.

Country morning drives to my aunt's house.
Fall days & playing outside with my favorite baby boy.
 Ruca, my aunt's pitbull
Friday evening bonfire with family & friends
this pretty much just describes what I do while driving. ha!
Weekend book store trips with my family
 Car rides home.

This is the day that the LORD has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.

TC 2013: The Last Day

The last day.
Filled with sand between the toes, sunny skies, tradition, delicious tastes of the city & smells of cigar smoke lingering on the porch.
Long tight hugs, laughter mixed with tears, and talk of future plans to meet again.
