More senior pictures

I took Shelby's senior pictures last Saturday. She is a 2013 graduate, another last minute senior session to keep me busy, which I love!

Her pictures are some of my favorites that I've ever taken. Her style/personality was fun and sort of reminded me of something from the 70's and I tried to capture that in her photos. Here are some of my favorites and you can always see more by clicking on the facebook button on the side! :)

My Auntie took me out to Thai for a late birthday dinner. I had never tasted Thai before but I love Asian food. It was delicious, I loved all the flavors and how they complemented each other.
We talked and ate then when we left she said mysteriously, "I'm taking you somewhere else, you just got to try this." We end up at an ice cream shop called Handels. We ate our ice cream, chatted, made summer plans and laughed until we cried at the two girls next to us taking pictures of their ice cream cones.
On the way home she spotted a Gigi's cupcakes and tried to make me jump out of the car and run across the intersection to buy myself one. HA HA! She's such a trip!

It was such a fun night and I love my Aunt so much! People sometimes say we look alike but mostly that we act alike! ha! :) So thankful for this lady.

John//Senior 2013

Nothing like last minute senior pictures for clients. I love doing it and it helps pick my business up after the winter lull.
John's pictures were my first senior session of the year. He was a lot of fun and unlike most guys, he was pretty relaxed in front of the camera. We had great lighting and shot in some awesome locations. He is an artist too, so we clicked when it came to what he liked and wanted in senior pictures. Here are a few of my favorites.

Baseball Fever

I love baseball!
My younger brother Ben is playing this year for a christian homeschool team. I've been enjoying watching his games so much. I took their team picture and also some during the games. I love the atmosphere of a baseball game and I find myself taking more pictures of the players in the dugout or talking among each other instead of actually playing. Not always the best thing since parents want to see their kids in action, ha ha but that's what I love!

*as I write this I am watching the Reds vs. Braves game with my family. GO REDS!
